About Temple Beth Sholom

Under the umbrella organization of the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism, we open our doors to Jewish people of all stripes and backgrounds. We are equalitarian, inclusive, and welcome interfaith Jewish families, Jews of the LGBTQ community as well as people who are considering converting to Judaism.

We have a robust Introduction to Judaism program, and we offer the course two times a year. The rabbi teaches basic Hebrew reading classes which makes the prayer book much more accessible.

We conserve the rituals and spirituality that Conservative Judaism offers, but have updated and upgraded the services of our parents and grandparents to include a broader spectrum of congregational melodies and sermons that are thought-provoking, and spiritually and psychologically attune to the needs of the Jews of our community.
