Meet our Cantor

Cantor Mark Grosser
As Sheliach Tzibbur for Temple Beth Sholom of Temecula, Cantor Mark draws on a lifelong enthusiasm and love of Jewish liturgy and music to enrich worship experiences and strengthen our connection to Judaism and to each other.
Cantor Mark has served as Sheliach Tzibbur at Temple Beth Sholom since 2014, leading and assisting with Shabbat and Yom Tov services. He has also served as TBS’s High Holiday Cantorial Soloist since 2020. Previously, he served as a Cantorial Soloist and B’nai Mitzvah instructor at Congregation Kol Ami in Salt Lake City, Utah.
His cantorial training includes completion of the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism’s IMUN program for lay service leaders, coursework at The Academy of Jewish Religion California and supervised study and mentoring under various cantors including Hazzan Laurence Loeb and Hazzan Sharon Brown-Levy.
Mark holds a B.A. in Social Anthropology from Reed College, and an MBA with an Organizational Behavior emphasis from the Marriott School of Management. Outside of synagogue duties, he is the founder and CEO of Team Elevator, Inc. where he consults with business and organizational leaders on building positive, healthy workplaces that improve culture and results.
