Welcome to Temple Beth Sholom’s new home! Our beautiful new temple is more than just a space, it's a place where Jewish values come to life through learning, friendship and celebration.
From our Parent and Me classes; to adult education, film nights, exercise programs for all ages and abilities, mahjong and more, there's something for everyone. We're excited to grow together and create lasting memories in our new space.
Programs, Classes & Events
Torah for Tots!
(Ages 0-8)
Torah for Tots is an interactive Shabbat morning experience for our youngest members of the community and their grownups. We sing songs, read a story, meet Rabbi Rosenstein’s Mitzvah Puppet Friend, dance with our mini Torah scrolls and make “Kiddush” with challah, juice and cookies.
USY Youth Group
(For Teens!)
We are looking to start our own USY Chapter here at TBS!
USY is USCJ’s youth movement for Conservative/ Masorti Jewish teens across North America.
For more than 70 years, USY has taught young Jews the values and skills they need to become exceptional leaders in their religious and secular communities.
USY is truly a second home – a safe, fun space where teens can be themselves and discover their potential.

Mazel Tots
For lilttle ones and their grownups!
This warm, welcoming space is designed for parents with babies and toddlers to connect, share, and build community while introducing our youngest learners to the joy of Jewish life.
Each gathering will include playful activities; songs; stories, and age-appropriate Jewish learning, along with time for the grownups to relax, chat, and support one another. Whether you’re celebrating milestones; singing along to favorite tunes, or just enjoying a cup of coffee with new friends, Mazel Tots is a place to grow together.
Crafting
Get creative
Join us for a relaxing and creative crafting event at the synagogue! Whether we're painting, pressing flowers, making candles, creating seasonal décor, or exploring Jewish-inspired art projects, these workshops are designed for all skill levels. No artistic experience is needed, and all supplies are provided.
Adult Learning
Synagogues are oftentimes referred to as a “Shul” as you might have seen once or twice throughout our website. “Shul” is Yiddish for school; a synagogue is not just a place for worship, but a place to learn, as well.
TBS Offers a number of Adult Education classes including Beginners' Hebrew Reading Class, Intro to Judaism, and we also hold a once-a-year evening study session in April or May, called “Tikkun Lyel Shavuot” where people offer 15-20 minute lectures on any Jewish topic they wish. It is one of our most attended adult learning events.
Young Family Programs
(Ages 0-8)
At Temple Beth Sholom we believe that educating our children is the key to our future.
Our Young Family Programs are geared for our youngest members of the community and their grownups. We meet before each Jewish holiday.
We sing songs, dance, read stories, and learn about the upcoming holiday. We also do a holiday related craft project that can be taken home.
Mahjong Mavens
Community is built one tile at a time. Join us for Mahjong! Whether you’re a seasoned player or brand-new, our Mahjong table always has room for you.
We are currently looking for a new Mahjong leader, if you are interested please reach out to office@tbstemecula.org
