Each week, we are going to present one of these psalms as we go through the (relatively) cold portion of the year. When you have some free time, you should read the psalm, and consider how it affects your thoughts and your feelings, both the rational and emotional sides of your being.
The first psalm in this group is #104
Lev Shalem: Pages 114-115
You should also check out Jewish Humor Central for an Israeli musical ensemble presentation of Psalm 104.
We are given a detailed and diversified description of nature, with images from the mineral, plant and animal worlds, including humanity. This is not done to worship nature and its elements itself, as pagans did, but rather to praise G-d for creating such magnificence, both in the first week of the world and in every day thereafter.
