Bar/Bat Mitzvah

Congratulations! You have reached a momentous milestone in your child’s Jewish education.

When Jewish children complete an initial course of religious study and reach the age of 12 or 13 years of age, they are eligible to be called to the Torah as a Jewish adult. This ceremony is called a Bar or Bat Mitzvah. Most of these children also read a portion from the Prophets, called a Haftarah as part of the ceremony. We offer these children customized curriculum and scheduling based upon their needs and abilities.

Many adults who have never had a Bar or Bart Mitzvah choose to do so later in life. We also offer training for adult B’nai Mitzvah.
